View Transaction History
Destiny records information about every transaction involving movement of, and change to, a resource item.
You can add Transaction History from various pages in Destiny. Destiny retains history even after the item or associated patron is deleted.
Included Events and Information
An entry is made in the Transaction History for each event. In addition to the transaction type, date, and person's name, the following information is recorded:

Change the Sort Order
The history is sorted by Date, with the most recent event at the top.
To sort the history by ascending or descending order, click the column heading. Click again to invert the order.
Print the History
To print the history, click Printable, and then use your browser's Print button or menu command.
Add a Note to the History
Besides the transaction types noted in the table above, you can add a note of up to 120 characters to the Transaction History from the following pages in Destiny:
- Edit Item
Access from Circulation > Item Status or Catalog > Resource Search, select Details, and then Items sub-tab. No matter which way you access, click Edit Item, and then select the Add historical note checkbox. - Catalog > Update Resources > Individual Update, Batch Update, and Global Update.
In Individual Update and Batch Update, you can add a note without updating any other information.
In Global Update, you must make at least one other change. - Catalog > Update Software > Assign Software sub-tab and Upgrade Software sub-tab.
You cannot edit or remove a note from the history.
